Known to her friends as Knit. She was brought up in a second hand shop in Alphacenturi which is twinned with Camden town. Her dream since being conceived in a test tube three million light years from earth was to drum like her stem cells
Knit's teleported arrival was in a pub called the Pineapple arms. She was teleported into Doctor Toff's lap (the first recorded lap dance), he immeadiately asked her to join his band as he liked the beat generated by the Alpha's vibe. She accepted the Doctor's offer, as this was her first humanoid discussion, but forgot to say that she had never in fact played drums as they would never fit into her test-tube.
Later that night Knit pulled out her tooth and put it under her pillow, making a wish for a drum-kit from her hairy, tooth fairy. The drum-kit was delivered the next day from the Argosian catalogue (free delivery anywhere in the universe), marked "Fragile open at your peril - God save the universe."
